Dr. Ariel Abramson was born in Israel in 1975. He remembers his early years there as simpler times since Israel was a fledgling country. Growing up with only two siblings, one channel on TV, no phones or computers, the focus was always on a close network of family and friends. Shortly after his 13th birthday, Dr. A and his family moved to the U.S. and settled on Staten Island, NY. Leaving a lot of friends and family behind was difficult. Finding himself with more free time than he has had before, Dr. A put it to good use and started working on his education and schooling with renewed vigor.

Dr. A completed his B.S. in Biology and Physician Assistant Certificate at Wagner College in 1997. He practiced as an emergency room and substance abuse physician assistant in New York for four years until his own dentist inspired him to pursue a career in dentistry.

In 2005, Dr. Abramson graduated from Stony Brook University Dental School at the top of his class, receiving awards for clinical dentistry, implant dentistry, orthodontics, dental anesthesiology, and pediatric dentistry, among others. Dr. Abramson completed a general practice residency at the Northport Veterans Affairs Hospital in 2006 and spent the following year working for the hospital. Since then, he has worked in private practice.

When he opened Modern Dentistry in 2008, Dr. A aimed to take the best of what he learned throughout his experience to create a practice where patients felt safe and comfortable. Dr. A values full transparency and clear communication regarding treatment options, expected costs, and available financial and payment options.
Dr. A loves to continuously learn and stays up to date on current dental technology by regularly attending continuing education seminars around the country and (occasionally) internationally. His great sense of humor and friendly demeanor will put you at ease in the dental chair and his professional expertise will ensure you receive exceptional care in comfort.

At Modern Dentistry, Dr. Abramson provides comprehensive dental care, including Invisalign treatment, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, and emergency dental care. He works closely with each patient to develop a treatment plan that supports their health, comfort, and long-term goals.
