Rachael Ish was born in New Jersey and moved to a new place every decade of her life: first Atlanta, GA; then San Francisco, CA; and now Fairfax, VA. With a background in publishing to bolster her administrative skills and an interest in patient advocacy driving her toward healthcare, Rachael joined the Modern Dentistry team soon after arriving in the DMV area and immediately found that it felt like home.

Now borderline obsessed with dentistry, Rachael is always eager to answer complex insurance questions and help patients get the care they need. When she’s not at work, Rachael enjoys playing video games with her partner, losing rallycross matches, and reading fiction.
